Most of the staff dah ambik cuti raya. And I'm still lingering around.
Tiba-tiba jadi sedih. *Sigh* *Hiks*
Teringat Raya di Kg Sim-Sim. Gosh .. I would wake up early ... siap-siap to go to Nang's and Ning's house. Then we will berjarah and then carried on with visiting the relatives around the neighbourhood.
I am not a Muslim - yet tapi was exposed to the tradition of Raya since I was a little kid.
I miss my moments of Raya. Especially malam Raya tang dok berkemas-kemas dan menghias rumah - the final touch up. Isi kuih kat bekas. Pasang lagu raya kuat-kuat and belek baju raya dua tiga kali.
Hiksssssss ......
Now .. dah 7 tahun tak rasa semua tu. Sedih sangat sangat.
Ning and Nang ... wouldnt be able to get home though I said I would. Work has taken its tol on me. I hate it! But I love my job.

that's the beauty of malaysia in general and sabah (to be more precise) i guess, eventhough all my family member have different religion. we still understand everyone ' raya' ...

ReplyDeleteselamat hari raya, atuk dgn org kampung kirim salam, makngah cah skrg 24 jam duduk dgn atuk, sebab rumahnya baru terbakar masa bulan puasa hari tu, so ada la teman my atuk...
